Reviews

I arrived not knowing exactly what I wanted. They listened, proposed something, and it came out exactly as I imagined — but better. There's nowhere else in Odense that does this like this.

Sofia M. Fine Line · Odense C

Three years later, the tattoo is still impeccable. The quality of the line work is in another league. I came from Berlin just to get my second one here.

Frequently asked
questions

What happens after I send my first enquiry?

Send a booking enquiry with your idea, preferred style, approximate size, placement, color or black & grey, and any references. We review the project and match you with the artist best suited to it. During the free consultation, we discuss your wishes, the scope of the project, placement, price, estimated time and the next steps. As a rule, the final design is prepared on the tattoo day unless otherwise agreed. Your tattoo appointment is only booked once you have received final confirmation and paid the deposit.

Is the design created during the consultation?

No. The consultation is used to clarify your idea, style, size, placement, budget and choice of artist. As a rule, the final design is prepared on the day of your tattoo unless you and the artist have agreed otherwise in advance.

How do I choose the right tattoo artist?

You are welcome to request a particular artist. If you are unsure, we review your project and match you with the tattoo artist whose style, experience and specialties are the best fit for your subject and desired expression.

Do you create custom tattoos?

Yes. Every project starts with your ideas, references and wishes. The artist creates a personal composition tailored to the subject, its placement on your body and the style you have agreed on.

How much does a tattoo cost?

Prices start from DKK 2,000. The final price depends on factors such as size, level of detail, placement, expected time and choice of artist. You will receive a specific estimate or an agreed session price before your booking is confirmed.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes. A deposit of DKK 1,000 must be paid at the time of booking to reserve your appointment. The deposit is deducted from the final price but is non-refundable. You may reschedule if you notify us at least 7 days before the agreed date. If you cancel, request a change less than 7 days before the appointment or fail to attend, the deposit is forfeited. For projects with several full-day sessions reserved in advance, a deposit is required for each session.

What is included in a full-day session?

A full-day session lasts 8 hours at the studio. Approximately 6 hours are normally active tattooing time. The remaining time is used for reviewing and adjusting the design, preparation, stencil placement, lunch, necessary breaks, cleaning and aftercare guidance. The exact distribution can vary depending on the project and the need for breaks.

How long does a standard tattoo session last?

It depends on the tattoo's size, level of detail, placement and style. Smaller projects can often be completed in a few hours, while larger tattoos, sleeves and back pieces may require one or more full-day sessions. You will receive a realistic estimate before the appointment is booked.

Can you cover or improve an older tattoo?

Yes. Several of our artists work with cover-ups and reworks. Please include clear photographs of the existing tattoo with your enquiry. During the consultation, we assess factors such as its size, colors, dark areas and placement and advise you on the best options.

What age and placement rules apply?

You must be at least 18 years old to be tattooed in Denmark, and we do not tattoo anyone under 18, even with consent from a parent or guardian. Under the current Danish rules, we also do not perform ordinary tattoos on the head, neck or hands.

How do you handle hygiene and safety?

We follow the current Danish hygiene requirements for tattoo establishments. Sterile single-use needles and relevant disposable products are used, while workstations and reusable equipment are cleaned, disinfected or sterilised in accordance with the applicable procedures.

How should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?

Make sure you are well rested, eat a good meal before your appointment and drink plenty of water. Avoid alcohol and recreational drugs before the session. Arrive with clean, non-sunburnt skin and wear comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed. Do not apply cream or perfume to the area on the day.

Does getting a tattoo hurt?

Pain is experienced differently from person to person and depends on factors such as placement, size, the length of the session and your personal pain threshold. The artist guides you through the process, and breaks are included as needed.

How long does a tattoo take to heal?

The surface of the skin typically heals within 2–4 weeks, while the deeper layers can take longer. Your artist will give you specific aftercare instructions. Always follow this guidance, avoid picking at the tattoo, and protect the area from sun, seawater, pools and public swimming facilities while it heals.

Can I change the design on the day?

Yes. You review the design with the artist before tattooing begins, and minor adjustments can normally be made on the day. Major changes that differ substantially from the original idea or require an entirely new concept may affect the schedule and make it necessary to arrange a new appointment.

How do I book an appointment?

Send a booking enquiry through the website with as much information as possible about your project. The form is an enquiry and not an automatically confirmed appointment. We contact you, help you choose the right artist and send the final booking confirmation once the project, date, price and deposit have been agreed.
